At the top of the gardens the alkaline soil overlays the limestone rock and at the foot of the hill the soil is acid over gritstone, which makes it ideal for rhododendrons. There is year round interest not only for the plantsman, but also for anyone who enjoys peace and tranquillity in this natural setting. If you are interested in finding out more about Parcevall Hall Gardens and our famous Tea Room then use the Contact Us page. The Hall itself is let to the Bradford Diocese as a retreat house. It is not open to garden visitors but its architectural features can be appreciated from several vantage points. We have created a ‘Gallery’ of our gardens, which we hope will help to convey the feel and look of Parcevall Hall Gardens, although we have to say that nothing can replace being here and seeing it for yourselves!
